Demand Planning Manager, Blink
Blink is looking for a Demand Planning Manager to own demand planning for NA devices and accessories products.
This planning position plays a critical role for our organization in driving the forecasting, analysis, operation plans, and process improvements for the region.
Our mission is to provide peace of mind for home owners while they are away from home using our wire-free, battery-operated smart home security cameras.
We are looking for an individual to be a leader for demand planning for the region who will inform what we buy and how we will sell it by collaborating with the commercial team and supply team.
In order to achieve this, you will develop and use optimization tools, advanced statistical models, machine learning algorithms, and big data solutions with the purpose of creating clear and concise data insights for our stakeholders to leverage.
An ideal candidate will not only have experience in Supply Chain Management and Data Analysis, but will also be able to engage in commercial decision-making, using a strategic mindset to make data-driven recommendations.
As the Demand Planning Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the demand planning cycle for NA, with a strategic eye for continuous improvement in our processes.
Specifically, you will be responsible to:
o Develop accurate and timely demand forecasts while balancing inventory constraintso Develop and share end-to-end demand plan and provide analysis and insight to stakeholders to make strategic decisionso Identify demand forecast risks and develop effective mitigation strategieso Create new tools, mechanisms, and KPIs to further mature the demand planning process for the growing business across multiple countries and customer basesA day in the lifeYou will be working with sales, marketing, supply, among other teams.
Your role is critical to analyze key trends in sales and forecasting future demand so that our stakeholders can operate efficiently.
You will also be responsible for providing key insights to business leaders regarding the health of our business, creating reports and presenting data that is actionable, timely, and concise.
